Features include 10-number address book, redial, and a phone keypad for manual dialing of fax numbers. Scanning, faxing and copying controls can be performed without the need for a computer interface. The platen design also allows for copying and scanning of items such as books or magazines, something that cannot be done with top-loaders without tearing the pages out.Īlthough a USB or computer network connection is required to run the printer, the control panel allows for the LaserJet M2727 to also function as a walk-up standalone machine for the other features. Taking up a 20” x 16” space on a desk, the only thing you need to worry about is its 18-inch height. In spite of its awkward look, the M2727 has a smaller footprint than most 4-in-1’s. Automatic 2-sided printing and the ability to handle 2-sided faxes, scans, and copies makes it a very useful all-in-one printer.Īt first glance the M2727 looks like a regular printer that someone glued a paper feeder with pontoons. Having all the features as the LaserJet 3390, the 2005 HP LaserJet M2727 is quieter and faster. ![]()
